Hi, I'm Jenna.
A dental hygiene educator.

When I became a registered dental hygienist in the Spring of 2014 I knew that I was securing a bright future for myself and my family. At the time, I couldn't have guessed that I would return to the dental hygiene program where I studied and find my purpose in education. I became a dental hygiene educator in 2016 and I plan to grow professionally in the field of education with the goal of becoming a full-time faculty instructor in an accredited dental hygiene program. I'll receive my Master's of Educational Leadership in Spring, 2021.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Jenna Allen-Coan approximately 10 years, as a student in the Fresno City College Dental Hygiene Program, as a registered dental hygienist, and as a fellow instructor in the Fresno City College Dental Hygiene Program. Jenna excels in each of these areas. She is delightful, focused, hard-working, and an excellent problem-solver. She communicates clearly and concisely. Jenna has many years of working with diverse students and patients. I wholeheartedly endorse Jenna Allen-Coan.

I appreciate how well-prepared Jenna is for her lectures. Her Powerpoint presentations are exceptional and it's clear how much research and preparation was done.
I also love her communication skills when interacting with staff and students. She is clear and concrete making her thought process and directions easy to understand.
Jenna has exceptional clinical skills which allow her to really assist students in growing and developing clinically.
It has been my pleasure to have worked with Jenna when she was a student and
presently as a clinical instructor. Among her many gifts are a willingness to listen to her
students and respond to their clinical questions and concerns with clarity and
compassion. Additionally, her social skills with patients and fellow workers will make
her an asset to any office.
