Intrinsic Motivation
In CCHE 600: Leadership Skills, I discussed leadership theory and learned how leadership style affects outcomes. My work here explores the concept of intrinsic motivation which has helped shape my own leadership style. My teaching style has evolved as a result.
Guided Pathways
This look at the Guided Pathways Model at community colleges is a good example of my writing and communication style. I explored this topic in CCHE 580: The Community College.
My aim was to communicate broad, complex concepts in an easy to follow format. This essential skill has served me well as a dental hygiene educator.
Program Proposal
The mission of this program proposal is to support women in healthcare degree programs. I developed it while taking CCHE 620: Access and Opportunity in Higher Education and it reflects my commitment to student success. The materials presented in this class were eye-opening and relevant to my position as a community college instructor.
Statement Paper
The COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed higher education. Here is a look at three major issues facing Fresno City College. This report was developed for CCHE 690: Master's Seminar and it showcases my research skills and writing style.

Future Issues
As a dental hygiene educator I have a special interest in bachelor's degree completion at community colleges. Currently dental hygiene students graduate with an associate's degree, so I chose to explore the topic. Also discussed is the subject of tuition-free community college education. I completed this work in CCHE 580: The Community College.
Student Learning Outcomes
The educational focus of CCHE 687: Professional Development was assessment in higher education. In this project I compare institutional effectiveness to student learning outcomes (SLOs). The voice over provides a clear example of my lecturing style and my ability to communicate concepts to listeners. The power point itself is representative of how I would typically develop lecture materials.
